Gear I use

Remember that gear isn't everything. The gear that I own and use I have acquired over many years of saving and doing small upgrades. I have no sponsors by any camera brand and have used most all major camera brands throughout my career. If you are planning on buying any of the items below please consider using the link that I have provided as it will give me a small kick-back at no cost to you! Thank you!

Sony A7R Mark 2

Main Camera body

Sony Zeiss 35mm f/1.4

The lens I use 95% of the time

Sony G 70-200mm f/4

A must have for headshots, landscapes and anything just further away. I carry the f/4 version because it's much lighter and cheaper and is just incredibly sharp

F-Stop Tilopa Backpack

Amazing backpack that I cannot say enough good things about. It's super comfy and I carry it everywhere. It might be too big at times but I just pull all the straps tight and it collapses pretty small. I can fit everything I need for a few days out in the woods when packed full.

I actually purchased this bag used from @samuelelkins on instagram. You should check him out

F-Stop Medium ICU

another piece that goes inside the F-Stop Tilopa that holds all your camera gear! The medium is the perfect size for me. This also came with the bag when I got it but you have to buy this separate if you're buying it new.

Gigabyte Aero 14Wv7-GN4

5 times the specs of a macbook pro at half the price. What more can I say? I also just can't do apple because I've been an IT professional for like 7 years now as my primary job and I'm just too familiar with windows. I'd switch to linux though if Adobe would port to it. Or maybe if I find the time to learn something else other than adobe.

Moment Wide v2

the perfect phone accessory and travel setup. I carry this around constantly.

Sony 32GB SDHC UHS-II Class 10 U3 Cards

read/write speeds up to 300MB/s is all there is to say. I have a few of these. 32GB is sometimes too small for me but they're a lot cheaper than the bigger ones. and I don't mind changing cards or batteries that much anyways.

Sierra Designs Summer Moon 2person Tent

cheapest lightweight tent you can buy!

JetBoil Flash

love this thing. not the lightest system in the world or the smallest but it's perfect for what I need.
